PVT Pro, a product of MAPSA Technology Center, predicts reservoir fluid properties. Using empirical correlations and new thermodynamic equations with a user-friendly graphical interface, it has become a powerful tool for modelling reservoir fluid behaviour.
In the first development phase, MTC experts tested all existing commercial software and extracted their strengths and weaknesses. The first version was industrially tested by experts at the South Oil-Rich Regions Company under a joint collaboration agreement and completed with their feedback. It has also been evaluated by Central Oil Fields, Pars Oil & Gas, Exploration Management, Natural Gas Storage and Continental Shelf companies, and has officially replaced similar foreign software at the National Iranian South Oil Company.
